Luminex
The complete demolition and build back of the 20,000 SF
of interior office and training labs was completed in 12
weeks. A DIRTT movable wall system was used to facilitate
future space reconfigurations. The pine millwork was reclaimed
from a barn in Iowa and used at the restroom core, and
as privacy screens at various locations throughout to create
informal meeting areas. Energy efficient lighting and low
VOC materials were used throughout. The flooring in the
lab areas is both functional and attractive – an
important consideration as Luminex clients typically see
only the labs when visiting.
Luminex has engaged SpawMaxwell for an expansion
of their existing data center, and for a renovation
and expansion of their manufacturing facilities.
