St. David’s Rehabilitation Hospital
The renovation of 58,000 SF at the St. David’s Medical
Center Rehabilitation Hospital includes 4 floors of phased,
concurrent occupancy construction in the fully-equipped
64-bed hospital at St. David’s main campus. The project
included: upgrading finishes in all areas of the facility;
bringing all patient restrooms into compliance with the
Texas Accessibility Standards; and adding significant renovations
to the nurse stations and common areas. Energy efficient
lighting was used in the lobby and at the nurse stations.
Restroom finishes include enlarged, textured porcelain
subway tile. The flooring was designed using a distinctive
medallion to signify public spaces and to offset private
areas of the facility.
