St. David’s Labor & Delivery

The concurrent occupancy, interior renovation of the Labor & Delivery suite at St. David’s Medical Center included demolition and build back in the following areas: Patient rooms, doctor’s dictation room, nurse’s station, staff restroom and corridors. The nurse’s station was completely redesigned. Each of the rooms required new finishes, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing fixtures and devices. The corridor was fitted with new flooring, wall finishes, doors, lights, and ceiling tile. The labor & delivery suite remained fully functional during the 6-month, multi-phased project. Stringent infection control procedures were maintained throughout the life of the project.
