Texas Medical Center J.P. McGovern Building
The Texas Medical Center was a complete renovation of
the core and shell on 11 acres of floor space at the
historic Nabisco Bakery that transformed the space into
a multi-use medical office. The 650,000 square foot facility
houses administrative offices for several of the hospitals
in the medical center, including: 38,000 square feet
of office space for TMC; 37,000 square feet for the Veterans
Administration Hospital; 92,000 square feet for MD Anderson’s
Human Resources office; 47,000 square feet of administrative
space for Texas Children’s Hospital; and 95,000
square feet for Baylor Medical School.
