David Spaw is a fifth generation builder. His father, Louis Spaw, was the co-founder of SpawGlass. David grew up in the building business, and worked his way through the ranks. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1971, and spending a decade at SpawGlass, David started his own enterprise. In 1998, David won the Greater Houston Partnership Entrepreneur of the Year Award. That same year, he proposed a consolidation of his company with friends and colleagues at Maxwell Company Construction.  David’s primary role at SpawMaxwell, in addition to leading the marketing and business development team, has always been to inspire and articulate the vision … to build a great company and to stimulate the organization to grow and improve.   

A family man, a father of three, a sailor, a food and wine aficionado and most recently, an assistant Scoutmaster – David is a supporter of many causes, with service to:
