Steve
Keffeler
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Finding ways to express himself artistically – at
home or at the office – comes easy for
Steve Keffeler: whether it is the artistry of
turning a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle sedan from
a “grocery getter into a mean hot rod;” researching,
designing and building homes for his family;
the design and construction of fine wood furniture;
or the creation of a detailed operations spreadsheet
with elegant functionality. Steve approaches
life and his work with an artist’s eye.
His multifaceted career includes stints as a
self-employed contractor and an earlier career
in the food industry with the Marriott Corporation.
In 1991, Steve joined the Maxwell Company as
a superintendent. He moved on to project management
and was made a partner in 1996. In 2010, Steve
was named Senior Vice President of Operations
after the acquisition by Balfour Beatty Construction.
Lately, Steve spends his free time in the Texas
Hill Country with his wife and daughter planning
the design and construction of their future Hill
Country retirement retreat.
